Milwaukee Collegiate Academy will be conducting Placement Testing for all of our incoming 9th grade students this summer. Placement testing is done with all 9th graders to determine their academic levels as they enter MCA. We will use the information from testing to provide appropriate instruction for our scholars that increases the likelihood of their success in high school. At MCA, we emphasize strength building in English and math. Again, this is why it is so important for us to assess your child’s current skill level before school starts.
Each incoming 9th grader will be responsible for coming in on one of the scheduled testing dates below. Each test is 30 minutes long. Pencils and scrap paper will be supplied. We encourage your child to bring a calculator for the math portion of the test, but it is not required.
There are two days available for testing. It is extremely important that your child attends one of the sessions. Please work with us to make sure that we can give your child a great start at MCA. Please call the main office right away to reserve your testing date and time at (414) 873-4014.
The testing dates and times are:
- Thursday, August 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Friday, August 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
