Tomorrow MCA will be conducting state mandated ACT testing for all 11th graders. 11th grade students should arrive at MCA no later than 8 a.m. Juniors are able to dress down for testing tomorrow. Due to the testing, there is no attendance for 9th, 10th and 12th grade testing tomorrow. Good luck 2017!
In celebration of all your hard work, Mrs. Mewes will be taking Juniors to UW-Oshkosh on Thursday. Permission slips are available at her office, please stop by after school to grab one so that you are able to attend!
When was the last time you saved the world? Have you ever wanted to lead a team of expert researchers to rid the world of deadly diseases? Or join up with your classmates to destroy evil monsters in deep dungeons? MCA’s Board Game Club will be starting up soon for any students interested in having a good time with friends while also developing their problem solving ability. Meetings will be Friday’s after school. If you are interested, see Mr Sasveld, Ms Mersits, or Mr. Carek and be ready for an informational meeting soon.
This just in from Mr. Weigel … Attention Scholars! Two years ago, MCA won Milwaukee’s annual Civics Bowl. Last year, we slipped to 2nd place. Today, is the time to bring that Civics Bowl trophy back to MCA. If you are interested in the law, civil rights, the Constitution, government or social studies, please sign up using the sign-up sheet in Mr. Attewell’s office door.
