Here are three tips for keeping warm on the way to school.

  1. Mittens keep your hands warmer than gloves.
  2. Drink plenty of water in the morning, it helps retain body heat.
  3. Stay dry. The cold can sneak up on you, especially if you’re tromping through icy puddles or sweating in a big parka.

Attention Seniors … Financial Aid Night is scheduled for this Thursday, January 14th from 5 to 7 p.m. here at MCA.  All seniors and their parents should plan to be in attendance with the necessary paperwork.  Please see Mrs. Mewes for more details.

Breaking News … help cheer the MCA Lions to victory! Tickets for the away basketball game against Madison High School are available in the office for $5. Go Lions! The Varsity Boys Basketball Team will also take on Community High School at home on Tuesday. Tip off is 6:30 p.m.

This just in … Lead to Succeed takes place today from 3:45-5:15. All students who signed up to participate in Lead to Succeed should be present.  Please meet Justin in the Union after school.

The MCA Boys and Girls Club is excited to have the opportunity to attend the production of Holes this Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  Scholars who attend will receive free entry and cookie voucher. Don’t miss out on this great production!
