Attention all students, this is an important testing notice!  This Wednesday, September 21st, MCA will be administering the Explore, Plan and practice ACT tests to all students!  These tests are an essential part of getting you ready for college by helping make sure you are ready to take the ACT.  Make sure to show up on Wednesday well-rested and ready to show what you can do on these important beginning-of-year tests!

Unity in Motion takes place today!  If you signed up to be a tutor, you begin today! Please see Ms. King in the office for extra bus fare if you are in need.  You should arrive at your site no later than 5:45 p.m. so please plan accordingly and get ready to help the children!

Mr. Ford reminds you to check the posted detention list located on the doors of the Union. It is your responsibility to check the list and serve your detention to avoid further consequences. No excuses.

Attention Scholars! If you have signed up to audition to be a student announcer, Auditions will be held on Wednesday, September 21 after school. Please mark your calendars if you signed up!

The Boys and Girls Club at MCA enters its second week and we are super excited about the program’s we have offered this school-year! Make sure to stop by the BGC office to see the latest programs and opportunities we have for you. Tomorrow, we have two new programs starting that you don’t want to miss out on. Photography and Lyricism 101 (happening at Destiny High School) the bus will arrive for pick-up at 3:50 p.m. You must be a BGC member and have signed up by the end of today to participate. 

Calling all MCA Ladies! PEARLS for Teen Girls groups will be starting up TO-DAY from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Come and see what PEARLS is all about! Meet in the Union immediately after school. To repeat: Pearls, Today, Meet in the Union.

2-4-6-8 who do you appreciate? LIONS, LIONS, Go Lionssssssss! Cheerleading tryouts will be held on Wednesday, September 21st at 3 p.m. Please have an original cheer prepared.
