Breaking News … if you’re interested in attending Friday’s AWAY basketball game at Bay View, tickets are available for purchase in the main office for $5 each. You must bring your ticket and student ID to get into the game, and you will not be allowed in after 8 p.m. Come support the Lions!
The countdown has begun … Homecoming is coming and it is only five more days until Spirit Week begins! Tickets for the dance are on sale during lunch and are $5 per person. Here’s the rundown on Spirit Week:
- Monday is Pajama Day
- Tuesday is Twin Day
- Wednesday is Mis-match Day
- Thursday is Throwback Day
- Friday is Class Color Day
ATTENTION ALL SENIORS: This is a reminder that the FAFSA ID Night is TO-MOR-ROW from 5 to 6:30 pm. All seniors and parents should be in attendance. The FAFSA ID Night is Step 1 to completing the FAFSA, which is a requirement for graduation. A flyer went home in the mail last week with details. Please see Mewes if you have questions or a conflict.
This just in: Credit Recovery will take place this week Saturday from 8am to 11am. It is important that scholars who signed up are in attendance in order to get back on track for graduation. Please be on time and in your uniform.
News Flash! Are you interested in running for the Student Council President? There will be an informational meeting TO-DAY after school on at 4 p.m. in Ms. Steggall’s room. Meet Ms. Steggall and Mrs. Lennard in the Union at 4:00 if you are interested in running.
Heads up 11th graders! UWM hosts an ACT Prep Course starting in January for any interested students. The course takes place on Saturday mornings at UWM. Applications are due December 16th. Please see Mrs. Mewes if you are interested.
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! BGC will be taking a trip downtown to the Milwaukee Rep to see a Christmas Carol on TO-MOR-ROW. You MUST turn in your permission slip by tomorrow.
The BGC will be participating in their annual gift give-away for all members who attend the club. Members who attend the club at least a minimum of four times until Christmas will qualify to receive a BGC gift. Attend the club, receive a gift! Happy Holidays!
Attention students! It’s that time of year. Pick up an MCA Swag order form from the main office! From t-shirts to hoodies to hats to shorts… Sample forms are on the walls around the building for you to see, but pick yours up from the office. Orders and money are due by Wednesday, December 16th!
