All Students:
- Monday, May 21 through Friday, May 25, is a REQUIRED WEEK OF ATTENDANCE FOR ALL STUDENTS.
- Monday and Tuesday School Hours & Schedule: No WIN this week. School starts at 7:55 a.m. and dismisses at 2:32 p.m.
- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: School starts at 7:55 a.m. and ends at 12:31 p.m.
- No Office Hours.
9th / 10th Grade Students:
- REQUIRED WEEK OF ATTENDANCE FOR ALL STUDENTS.
- Physical Education Final Exam (required for all students). Students who skip this exam may have to repeat the course.
- Final week to complete content assessments, projects, and focus areas to earn promotion or to increase GPA.
- If you are participating in a pre-college program.
- Extended Summer starts June 4, 2018. 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday – Friday.
11th Grade Students:
- Final exams: Wednesday, May 23 – Friday May 25.
All students must:
- Arrive on time for finals. Late entry to finals will not be permitted.
- Students who miss a full day of exams will need to make them up to earn credit.
- Students should be dressed in uniform unless they have earned a dress down day.
- EXEMPTING EXAMS?
- Students eligible to exempt an exam will know by Tuesday, May 22
- Students who have exempted exams may arrive to school late or leave early–but are required to arrive to their their non-exempted class on time. Students who exempt exams are not required to be in class when the exam is being administered.
- Students who choose to exempt a English or Math FINAL will be exempt from their English and Math class on both days during exam week.
- MISSED AN EXAM? MAKE-UP EXAM DATE: Tuesday, May 29 ONLY
- Students who are absent for their exam must come to school (by 8 a.m. and in uniform) on Tuesday, May 29 to make-up their missed exam(s). This will be the only day for students to make up exams. Students who miss their Wednesday or Thursday exams will NOT be able to make them up on Friday.

Student Exam Exemption Information
Scholars can exempt 2 exams if:
- They have 90% attendance for the entire school year;
- are passing ALL classes with a 74% or higher;
- they have an 84% or better in the class they want to exempt;
- If scholars have a 3.75 GPA or higher for the SEMESTER, they are then eligible to exempt THREE classes;
- A final list of exemptions will be available on Tuesday, May 22.
Students who exempt exams are not required to be in class when the exam is being administered. If a scholar exempts their 1st or 3rd block, they are permitted to arrive late or leave early.
