Milwaukee Collegiate Academy will hold an important Parent Meeting on Thursday, October 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. At the meeting, parents will learn more about graduation requirements, senior fees and will complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) for their scholar.
FASFA provides access federal grants, loans and work-study funds and is a critical step in your scholars journey to college.
By not completing a FAFSA, your scholar is missing out on a seriously good deal. Federal grants do not need to be repaid, federal student loans have low interest rates and work-study programs can be a convenient way to simultaneously fund an education and build a resume.
On October 4, parents will need the below documents and information to begin work on the FASFA:
- 2017 Taxes
2017 W2 forms
Social Security Number
A valid email address
