Freshman scholars in Mr. Malugade’s English class participated in a mock trial on April 28. Students prepared for two weeks before participating the simulation of an actual court case. Scholars could either serve as witnesses or lawyers and were responsible for memorizing witness statements, writing opening and closing statements, and creating questions to ask key witnesses in the case.
