Eight Milwaukee Collegiate Academy students have been selected to attend BAEO’s Annual Symposium in New Orleans in February. MCA students will participate in workshops, discussion groups, college tours and visits to a high-performing high schools.
The symposium is the largest gathering of Black education reform supporters and students in the nation, drawing as many as 1000 participants. The event is designed to inform, inspire, and empower Black students, parents, educators, elected officials, clergy and emerging leaders about high-quality educational options for low-income and working-class Black families.
