Students from Milwaukee Collegiate Academy participated in the Milwaukee Street Law 10th Annual Mock Trial Competition on Friday, April 11 at the U.S. District Courthouse in downtown Milwaukee.
The Marquette University Law program is designed to engage high school students in a critical examination of their legal rights and responsibilities. Milwaukee Collegiate Academy scholars made it through to the Championship Round and two MCA students Ryan Gray and Julien Haygood were singled out for special recognition for their performance during the mock trial.
Social Studies teacher Nicole Vurusic was the teacher for the team.
