Starting on February 22, Milwaukee Collegiate Academy will begin using Two-Way M-Card for students who are not issued a weekly blue bus pass due to printing problems at the Milwaukee Country Transit System. Here’s what you need to know about using the Two-Way M-Cards:
- Once a student swipes their card they have 60 minutes to transfer so they can complete their ride.
- If a student swipes their card 60 minutes after their first swipe they will activate their second ride.
- Students should transfer as quickly as possible so they don’t activate their second ride by accident.
- Students then need to save that exact same card, without damaging it, so that they can activate their second ride to return to school the next day.
- Pro-Tip: Keep you M-Card away from your phone to avoid accidental deactivation.
