Request a Shadow Day at MCA

To get a first-hand look at Milwaukee Collegiate Academy, we encourage prospective students to spend a day with us. During a Shadow Day, visiting students are paired with a MCA scholar who will serve as the visitor’s personal guide for the day.

Students must pre-register for a Shadow Day at least five days before the intended visiting day. On the day of the visit, students must check in at the Main Office 7:45 a.m. and turn in the Shadow Day Permission Slip. In turn, students will receive a guest pass for the day as well as be partnered with an MCA Student Ambassador, who will serve as his/her guide throughout the day. Shadow Days conclude at 12:45 p.m. in the Main Office.

What do you need to know?

• Arrive at MCA no later than 7:45 a.m. and report to the main office
• A complete breakfast and lunch will be provided
• Your MCA experience will end at 1 p.m. unless previous arrangements have been made

What should you wear?

• A collared shirt without graphics or logos
• Pants free of rips or holes
• No jeans or hooded sweatshirts, please

Shadow Days are not permitted one week prior to and during exams, before holidays, or during “special schedules.” The number of Shadows per day is limited to 5.
