This year, students in Mr. Reyero science classes partnered with the Century City Tri-Angle Neighborhood Association and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District to learn more about protecting our rivers and Lake Michigan by adapting practices that harvest rainfall for other uses or mimic nature by draining it into the ground to reduce water pollution.

Scholars helped plant gardens and learned about the value of rain barrels.

“A huge thank you for your participation in the Century City activities. Your students reflect your commitment and hard work,” said Yvonne McCaskill, Coordinator Century City Tri-Angle Neighborhood Association.
