From June 3 to June 14, we will be offering students an adjusted school schedule to help them complete coursework that will lead to their grade level promotion.

For the next two weeks, we will follow a schedule that is similar to our normal Wednesday schedule. From 7:45 a.m. to 12:55 p.m., students will follow their normal Gold or Purple Day schedules. At 12:55 p.m. students who do not need additional time to complete coursework will be released. These students will be provided lunch and bus fare, just as on a normal Wednesday.

Other students will remain in the building for MANDATORY OFFICE HOURS and will be scheduled to meet with teachers who are offering small group sessions based on the individual needs of a group of students. Scholars will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m. There will be no office hours on these days. However, our after-school CLC program will be open Monday through Thursday.

All students are not “done” until they’ve received a letter stating they have been promoted to the next grade level. Parents should request to see the completion letter prior to allowing them to stay home from school.

If your scholar is scheduled for afternoon classes over the next two weeks, they must attend required afternoon classes or face having to complete their coursework during Summer School. Summer School begins June 18 and students are required to attend all four weeks to receive credit.
