Welcome back to school MCA… here are your afternoon announcements for Thursday, September 1, 2016.
Here’s an important message from Mrs. Mewes about your schedule: If you have a conflict in your schedule, be sure to fill out a blue conflict sheet so that the problem can be resolved. If you need a conflict sheet, you can get one from the Office, the Commons table or from Mrs. Mewes’ office. Please be sure to look at your schedule carefully so can identify if there are any problems.
Attention Scholars: College Friday is TO-MOR-ROW … that means you can wear your college shirt with UNIFORM pants, ALL black belt and BLACK shoes! To repeat: college shirt with UNIFORM pants, ALL black belt and BLACK shoes! Get ready for Friday Shout-Outs!
Attention Scholars: If you had your ID picture taken today, please stop by Mr. Attewell’s office directly after school.
Calling all MCA ladies! PEARLS for Teen Girls groups will be starting up Monday, September 19th from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Come and see what PEARLS is all about!
Here is an important message about bus passes from Mr. Weigel: Soon MCA will be using permanent M-Cards. Until then we will start the year with one way M-Card Lites. Remember, that once you swipe your 1 way M-Card lite you have 90-minutes from the time of first the swipe to make all of your transfers. After that your 1 way M Card lite is expired. Also, remember to discard 1 way M card lites once they are used so you don’t accidentally get on the bus with an inactive card.
Attention Cheerlearders … all cheerleaders from last year please plan to meet on Tuesday, September 6 from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. Cheerleading try-outs will be Wednesday, September 21 at 2 p.m. Please be prepared with an original cheer to perform dress appropriately. Any questions please see Mrs. King!
It is almost time for the Boys and Girls Club at MCA! We will be holding a book bag give-away on a first-come basis. You must turn in a completed CLC application to qualify. The first day of Boys and Girls Club at MCA is Monday, September 12. Mark your calendars!
