Join Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy for a Virtual Town Hall Meeting about the impact of Covid-19 on Thursday, April 2 at 6 p.m.

The COVID-19 public health emergency has upended everyone’s life. With schools in Wisconsin closed until at least April 24, students, parents, teachers and school staff have questions about what it all means for classes, grades, student support, graduation and more. The leadership of Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy wants to provide answers.

Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy will be holding a Virtual Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, April 2 from 6 to 7 p.m. using Google Hangouts. Hangouts has the capacity of 250 persons.

We will be using Google Hangouts for the meeting. Google Hangouts features video, voice and chat features. It is free to download on your mobile devices and is installed on all student Chromebooks.

Your questions will be reviewed for common themes and HFCA staff and board members will be on hand to address each topic. The event will not be open to the public to participate in person due to the need to limit large crowds.

At the meeting, parents and families will also vote on whether to support a waiver for state mandated instructional hours. While the Wisconsin Department of instruction has waived the state mandate, a town hall vote is a required step in this process and we need parent and family voice in the decision. A vote will be taken at the Town Hall Meeting on April 2.
