SPOTLIGHT: Technology
Virtual learning at the beginning of the health crisis and school closure taught us the critical value of technology. We committed to providing scholars with equitable Internet access and the technology tools, skills and support they will need to be successful.
The Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy is excited to kick off our 2020-21 school year, even if we have to start it online. Due to concerns related to the COVID-19, we will begin the year of learning online and then re-evaluate in October if it is safe to open for face-to-face instruction. Our first day of school will be August 31, 2020. Please bookmark this webpage as your resource and information hub for Virtual Learning as we start the school year.

This Week at HFCA: April 7, 2024
NOTICE: Wednesday, April 10 is PreACT Secure testing for 9th and 10th grades (no school for grades 11 and 12)
On April 1, Milwaukee Excellence and HFCA faculty and staff got their first inside look of our new high school facility located on N. Vel R. Phillips Ave. in Milwaukee’s historic Bronzeville. Site superintendent Chris Pratt led the tour, showcasing HFCA’s partnership with CGSchmidt and JPC Construction for our new high school and middle school renovations.

The excitement is building, Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy is thrilled to announce its annual College Decision Day event, happening on Friday, May 3, 2024. Decision Day will honor the dedication and accomplishments of the Class of 2024, as they finalize their decisions regarding the colleges and universities they’ll be attending this Fall. The celebration will be broadcasted LIVE on Facebook and YouTube. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.

College Friday on a Tuesday!
Scholars, we encourage everyone to demonstrate their backing for the upcoming ACT Aspire testing by donning College or HFCA apparel on Tuesday, April 9.
Here are the guidelines:
- Wear College or HFCA attire to exhibit your spirit and solidarity.
- Note: slides, Crocs, or house shoes are prohibited.
- Opt for jeans (no leggings or jeggings) for a comfortable and suitable appearance.
- Kindly refrain from showing any skin and avoid wearing clothing with inappropriate language or images. Let’s unite as a community to bolster our classmates!
