We believe Virtual Summer School will provide an excellent opportunity for students to stay on track for graduation and grade promotion. Participation is expected for scholars who are not on track for grade promotion or are in need of credit recovery. Teachers will facilitate virtual learning using video conference platforms such as Google Meet, and other online tools like APEX as necessary.

Upon successful completion of Virtual Summer School, students will recover lost credits for grade promotion from this semester. Failure to complete summer school will result in retention and possibly repeating classes during the 2020-21 school year.

To be successful in this environment, scholars will need to have access to a computer, an internet connection, and a quiet workspace allowing for uninterrupted instruction. Families can check-out a laptop for students participating in Summer School.

Virtual Summer School will provide an excellent opportunity for students to stay on track for graduation and grade promotion. It is also an opportunity to connect with others and stay engaged in their learning during the summer.
